Kirke Snyder, has been a litigation support consultant and/or litigation support practice leader for some of the most successful firms in the legal industry. As Director of Litigation Information Consulting at Deloitte and Touche, Kirke was a "rain-maker" and annually won awards for excellence in business development. After leaving Deloitte, he started the successful e-Discovery Practices at both FTI Consulting and LECG. Today, Mr. Snyder consults with private companies and law firms about how to operate a profitable e-discovery business.  He is a law professor at Regis College and Member of the Board of Governors for OLP.

                                 

Debora Motyka Jones, Esq.

Debora Motyka Jones is a Client Services Manager at Lighthouse Document Technologies, a national e-discovery services provider.  Debora is responsible for maximizing the Lighthouse client experience with strategic accounts both within

Seattle and nationally.

Prior to Lighthouse, Debora was a Litigation Associate at McNaul Ebel Nawrot & Helgren PLLC.  Her practice included commercial, employment and securities litigation and legal malpractice defense.  Debora resolved business disputes for clients of various sizes and was primary counsel on several cases.

Prior to McNaul Ebel, Debora was a Complex Commercial Litigation Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in

Washington, D.C.   Her practice included multi-million dollar commercial and securities litigation including litigations related to the WorldCom and Enron bankruptcies.  While at Weil, Debora was recognized for her pro bono service.


Matt Knouff, Esq.

Matthew Knouff – Matthew is General Counsel for Complete Discovery Source, Inc., an end-to-end electronic discovery services provider, and serves as an eDiscovery and litigation best practices consultant to several AM Law 100 firms and Fortune 500 companies.  He offers a strong mix of legal expertise and leadership with over 10 years of experience in business development. 

Matthew is a member of the Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG1), serves on the Board of Directors of the New York County Lawyers’ Association (NYCLA) Cyberspace Law Section and serves as Chairman of NYCLA’s subcommittee on eDiscovery.  Matthew teaches accredited CLE courses on several topics related to electronically stored information and in 2009 wrote a practitioners’ text, “eDiscovery 101: A Comprehensive Primer for Attorneys Handling Electronically Stored Information in Litigation”.  Matthew holds a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a B.A. in History and Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  

 



Colette Perkins
Director of Education, OLP

President and Founder of Emerging Technologies, Colette Perkins is a seasoned Litigation Support Managers with a strong work history from major firms. 

Colette is a Certified Litigation Technology Manager and successfully developed and defined requirements for multiple firms' litigation technology departments.  She trained numerous legal and IT professionals on major litigation support applications including, but not limited to; Concordance (Certified Concordance Administrator), Summation, Sanction, IPRO, and LAW.  She productively lead, mentored and trained junior staff members, and also led and trained large teams of attorneys and paralegals on substantial document database reviews and produced several coding and training manuals.

 

 

                                        

                                 Vicki Hill, CEO, Norcross Group

Ms. Hill is in charge of daily operations and long-term strategic direction for Norcross Group. She has been an Executive, Technologist and Solution Designer in the computer and information systems industry for over 25 years. Prior to Norcross Group, she was the Vice President and General Manager of the Service Center and Software business groups at Internet Commerce Corporation following the acquisition of Electronic Commerce Systems (ECS).

Ms. Hill served ECS as President and CTO while executing a company reorganization and return to profitability that lead to the sale of the company. She built and led a Professional Services and Systems Integration business unit, implementing sophisticated wide-area applications. 

She received Executive Certification in Information Systems Technology from MIT, Project Management Certification from Purdue University, and Certification in Software Development Lifecycle Management from Digital Equipment Corporation. She also serves on a number of committees, including the National Healthcare Technology Committee, which acts as a technology solutions think tank.

 


Romana Ramirez

Romana  Ramirez, Litigation Technology Manager, Office of County Counsel, Santa Barbara, CA  - 23 year career in various areas in Legal Field including, ten years in  Litigation Support as a Coordinator, Specialist and Project Manager; Litigation Paralegal, Paralegal Manager, Trial presentation Technician and currently teach Legal Technology and Interviewing and Investigation for the Paralegal Studies program at UCSB. 

A member of the Legal Advisory Committee at Pasadena City College and previously taught for 4 years for the Paralegal Studies program at Pasadena City College. A member of the Advisory Counsel for the Organization of Legal Professionals.  Expertise in the areas of eDiscovery, trial presentation, database creation and maintenance, research and investigation and training in legal specialized applications.  Certified in various Legal Technology programs.
